This additional support has brought in three new members, each leaders in their fields of research:

  • Dr Patrick Fairclough, a physical chemist based at Sheffield
  • Dr Aimin Song, and electrical engineer based at Manchester and
  • Professor Douglas Kell, an informatics expert based at Manchester
